In the summer of 2011, Pastors Robert and Jennifer Walker read the book Radical by David Platt that would begin the journey of traveling to other countries to build orphanges and churches and spreading the gospel. As Christians we tend to believe that our relationship with Christ is about our salvation only but clearly the bible says in John 15:13 Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends. The great commission calls us out of our four walls to the orphans, those that have been forgotten by the people of this world.

 

James 1:27 Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world.
